How to properly clean your AirPods

There is no official method for cleaning AirPods, however we have found Blu-tak to be a great tool for removing any dirt from the case. Baby wipes work well, however dirt sticks to Blu-tak, causing it to come off the AirPods case’s lip and wrap around the back of the case’s pairing button. There are two official methods for cleaning them: using a clean cloth and a soft-bristled brush. You can use a dry cotton swab to clean the microphone and speaker meshes, and a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush to remove any debris from the meshes.

Are AirPods waterproof? The answer to this question is yes or no.

Wearing AirPods while swimming or taking a shower isn’t recommended because none of the previous models, including the AirPods Max, are water resistant. Even though the AirPods third generation and AirPods Pro are water resistant (IPX4), they should not be submerged. First and second generation devices aren’t sweat proof, however they are tested for everyday usage and a variety of activities. We’ve had no problems taking them running or to the gym, but we steer clear of any water features like waterfalls or swimming pools. AirPods Pro and AirPods 3 are water-resistant.

Is there noise cancellation in the AirPods?

There is no noise canceling in the first, second, or third generation of AirPods. Active Noise Cancellation is included in the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.

PCs and Android devices, such as Samsung and Huawei, can also use AirPods. However, both firms make their own wireless earbuds that compete with AirPods. What color options are available for the AirPods?

For now, the white color option is limited to the original Apple models. As far as we know, there have been no reports of black AirPods. You can choose from a variety of colors for AirPods Max.

How much are AirPods?

Only the second generation, third generation, and AirPods Pro are available from Apple at this time. The original model has been phased out. The regular charging case for the AirPods 2 costs £119. The wireless charging cover for the AirPods 3 costs £169. The wireless charging case may be purchased separately for £79. Both the first and second generation AirPods can be charged wirelessly using the charging case. For £249, the AirPods Pro include a wireless charging case. The price of the AirPods Pro Max is $549.
