In this article I’m going to guide you on how  to Check your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch’s serial number or IMEI

Before you start:
• These numbers can be found in Settings, on the device itself, in the Finder or iTunes, and on the original packaging.
• You can use the serial number or the IMEI/MEID number to identify your device when you call Apple for help.

Locate your ICCID, IMEI/MEID, or serial number.


1 Tap About after going to Settings > General.
2 Find the number that goes with it. Users might have to look to find the IMEI/MEID and ICCID.

3 Touch and hold the number to copy it. After which, touch and hold the number to insert it into Apple forms for registering or getting help.

Upon those devices, the serial number may be located in the Settings menu, and the IMEI/MEID can be found on the back of the device. The MEID is the first 14 numbers of the IMEI. If you require assistance but are unable to access the Settings screen, you can provide the following information in place of the serial number:

Locate the serial number and IMEI/MEID on the SIM tray of these devices

When you have any original iPhone, the serial number and IMEI will be inscribed on the bottom of the device’s rear.

You can locate the serial number on the rear of your iPad Pro, iPad, or iPod touch device. You may also locate the IMEI on an iPad that combines Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.

You may also locate the serial number for your device by using iTunes or the Finder:
1 Connect your gadget to your computer.

To copy the serial number so that you can put it into Apple’s registration or support forms, select Edit > Copy Serial Number from the menu bar.

You can look for the serial number or the IMEI or MEID number in a few different places on the device If you don’t have your device.

1 In a web browser, navigate to the address http://appleid.apple.com/ to access the Apple App Store.
2 Log in with the Apple ID that is currently associated with the device.
3 Make your selection in the Gadgets area. To view the serial number as well as the IMEI or MEID number, choose the device.
If you still need assistance, the following are some other options to consider:
• Do you have access to another device that’s logged in with your Apple ID and runs iOS 10.3 or later Proceed to the Settings > [Your name] menu on that smartphone. Simply scroll down to view all of the devices that are currently logged in together with your Apple ID. Simply click the device name to bring up the serial and IMEI/MEID number.
• Can you still possess the original packaging for you device? Locate the serial number as well as the IMEI or MEID on the barcode:
